First premiering in 1592, Richard III remains a disturbingly funny and chilling portrait on the ruthless pursuit of power, moral decay, and the horrific cost of unchecked authority. Andrew Sellon is Richard III

Andrew grew up in Belmont, a suburb of Boston, MA, where as a teenager he dabbled in acting, directing, music, stage magic, and ventriloquism. After earning his honors degree in English from Harvard, he moved to NYC to pursue acting and writing, taking three years off to earn his MFA in Acting from UNC-Chapel Hill. Notable New York and Regional Theatre performances include: Hercule Poirot in the sold out run of Murder on the Orient Express at the Old Globe (the best-selling play production in their 90-year history), the Fool in King Lear, Polonius in Hamlet, Charlie in the award-winning 30th Anniversary revival of The Foreigner, Vanya in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Jim Casy in The Grapes of Wrath, Clown (15 roles) in The 39 Steps, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, all 35 roles in I Am My Own Wife, Bazzard in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and the mysterious Eric Finch in the national tour of the stage version of the classic TV series Cheers. His breakthrough came in 2017 when he made his first appearance as Mr. Penn/The Ventriloquist, Penguin's right-hand man in Fox's hit Batman prequel drama Gotham. Other recent film and TV appearances include Halston, Begin Again, Mamarosh, The Smurfs, The Blacklist, The Mysteries of Laura, The Good Fight, and HBO's Divorce. He is an accomplished voiceover artist and audiobook narrator with a number of recordings available. Since 2016 Andrew has been on the faculty of Western Colorado University's Graduate Program in Creative Writing as its Performance Coach.
